In the mid-1980s, Dave Hicks began what would become another lifelong passion — beekeeping. From his home in Granville, New York, he established Hicks Honey, producing raw, healthy honey that reflected his care for both the land and the bees he tended.

For decades, Dave shared this pure, 100% American-made honey with friends, neighbors, and customers throughout the Adirondack Foothills.

Though Dave is no longer with us, the story of Hicks Honey remains part of his legacy. It stands as a reminder of his hard work, his respect for the natural world, and the sweetness he brought into the lives of those around him.
